I am unsure of your amounts you state and how they relate. Were some restored and others not?

I think on this board, it is when someone wants it and has the money Seriously, the ole supply and demand... How much is a person willing to spend on say a 1906? And if it was truly restored, add the value of the "shooter" item (depends on the type of pistol) and add the restore price.

Each person is different. A police weimar luger will be worth more to me in an interesting variation than probably most folks. Or, as maybe a better example; I came across sn 701 made by Simson & Co, Suhl. It is an undated example, and in "ok" shape. Why does it excite me? Because sn 1-700 were dated. This is sn 701, is not dated, and yet there have been "reports" of sn Simson's that are dated 1925, 1926, 1927 and 1928 (I do not beleive in the 1927 or 1928, and doubt anything after sn 700). Although not the end-all definate proof, having a non-dated that is sn 700 is a pretty good example to me that anything after it was not dated. It is unlikely to me that anything after would be dated (why would it be and this one is not?)
