Thanks for the compliment, but I am far from being a Mauser expert.

If you are going to get into Mauser pocket pistols. The only good referrence available is the somewhat outdated and out of print "Mauser Pocket Pistols 1910-1946" by Roy Pender. If you find a copy for less than $225 you're doing good. There was one on Ebay recently, and if I recall it was already over $300.

Yours is one of the wartime commercials. Pender states that it is one of the more difficult variations to find. "Some" have military acceptance stamps. Also, Christian and Tom are correct, the magazine is not for a Mauser 1914. I have seen 1914s fitted with Beretta 1934 finger extension magazines.
