This is the result of the way you access the Forum. You are entering through the Home Page, and clicking "Message Board" in the black bar.
If you enter
http://forum.lugerforum.com into your internet browser address bar, it will bypass the home page and take you directly to the discussion forum. From this location bookmarking will work as you expect.
