BKIW is what DWM changed their name too. Then shortly afterwards, production went to Mauser (which was part of their extended gun manufacturing company).
The 104 is the police unit marking and yes "kinda" the 104th weapon, I don't think they necessarily went from 1 to say 204, Don Maus would know better than me.
It was NOT a 1920 commercial, it was one made for police and army (this was an army. The magazine safety has been taken off and the sear safety remains.
Value, well, it is in fairly nice shape (i have seen and owned nicer, but it is very nice).
2 matching mags and a matching holster. I bet the holster has a tool inside of the pouch.
I'd venture I'd pay $1500 for it and it should be worth $1800-$2000 on the open market (provided it is all matching, mags are replacements etc)
