The gun was modified for a mag. safety but that has been removed.
The unit marking is: L. Ka. 104. That same marking is on the back of the holster which has the name: "Robert Larsen--Berlin--1929"
Unfortunately, my neighbor (before I ever saw it) decided that the grips looked old. Of course they looked old because they were old, so he threw the original grips away and installed repo. Swiss style grips. After I got it I found some unnumbered grips of the same vintage, which fit perfectly, and put those on it.
My neighbor also made a $150 deer rifle out of an all original 98k.
I bought the Luger and the K-43 from him--the K-43 still had the spare parts kit and butt stock manual in the butt stock well. I'm just glad he didn't cut the stock and install a Bushnell scope on the K-43.
