David,
I think the people who thought it was such a good idea to ban weapons on that particular college campus should have to meet and explain themselves to everyone who would have been carrying a weapon that day were it not for the ban and who had potential access to the shooter.

This is a good example of how laws are meant for those who wish to obay them. A good lock only keeps out honest people.

The ban on concealed carry at this institution, like anywhere there is a gun ban, insured the shooter free reign to murder at will without fear. Even locking the doors to keep out help from Police.

There was a law enforcement officer at Luby's at the shooting there who had left her pistol in her glove compartment. If she had had it, many lives including her parents could have been saved.

When will we wake up and quit wishing and hoping but do something? An armed populace is a polite populace.
