If I understand correctly, you're refering to the Crown over an N marking? I belive this marking indicated that it was OK for modern Nitro-cellouse ammunition. To the right of that mark is the [SA]. Also, the safety does have the "Geisichert" marking.

I don't belive my gun has a letter prefix, or if it does, it's in some place I'm unfamiliar with. Primary, I'm lookng at the frame just under the barrel. The serial number is 8918. HTH~
