Autoloader,

The problem you have with the gun is that the modification has essentially destroyed any collector value except as a true curio. I would guess that someone might pay $1500 or so for it as the basis for a restoration project. The pity is that, if it were unmolested, in the condition depicted, it would bring $3500-4000. Restored, it might bring $2000 or so.
