The front sight isn't right either. It was standard to have a adjustible front sight on a 1915 and this one does not appear to be adjustible. (hard to tell from the pictures though) Even considering that, it just does not look right. There should be a base that elevates the sight. Frankly, this gun looks to be rebarreled. The parts that should be strawed look like they were blued. Bad buffing job on the rebluing of the gun. The locking bolt lever isn't right either. The checkered knob has been badly messed with. I think that that is enough on this gun. I pass on it.

If I had any interest in this gun, I would look at the rear toggle to see in an old P-08 sight was filed off. I would have to, physically, see the gun and take a close look to really tell. I think that it is a 'put-together' by someone trying to make more money off of an artillery.
