Pete - I don't recall any other markings on the firearm other than the ones I have pics off, but I can have my dad take another look. What/where is the frame's grip strap?
Should I end up with it someday, I don't think I would have it restored. Plated is how he says he got it and I wouldn't want to change that.
I understand where you're comming from Edward about it being sexist. It should be available to anyone who knows its value to the family and would be able to appreciate it and pass down the history to the future generations.
