what a great story, and a nice looking luger. i also have a 1936 S/42 it has the org. blue and straw,d parts. there are some pic,s of it below your post. under my new gun. your dad sure had a great military career. and it,s not often we end up with a weapon our father carred while in the military. i can see why you would never part with it. thanks for the story and pic.s.
