Dave,

A bent trigger guard is pretty easy to fix up. I once used a tappered large dowel I made of oak which I tappered on a belt sander. I worked the shape of the guard back into place from both sides of the pistol, using a rubber mallet to drive the dowel. Trigger is removed, first, of course.

I shaped the dowel on a luger with a normal guard so I got the right shape right.
