Hi Ron,
It look original to me as well...but then I see the "Germany" is not halo'd and possibly worn.
Barrel markings do have halos and pin through the toggle is white and the polished thumb safety area looks good.
Might it have some touch-ups here and there ?
Also...might this be a chip in the metal of some sort ?
