Listen Ed, I'm extremely ill and my time left is quite short. I apologies for anything said that offended. I seem to have lost patience in standard conversation and wanted direct answers so I could start and hopefully finish this project. Even if not for me, my family. Yes, I collect Military vehicles (M29C), have owned and restored boats from 11' to 38', restored 9 motorcycles, 2 AMX's and built 2 houses. Anyone can buy a Luger Carbine. My goal is to restore a Carbine so that the world count of Carbines would increase even by just one. Also, so my family will have something that truely meant something to me. Maybe it's just an old mans dream but I'm working on it.

I did send an email asking Bob Adams about possible fire and individual conversion instead of a German Company conversion. I also asked for copies of import papers from him or the friend who has the frame on consignment.

If there is a Luger expert that lives near Chantilly Virginia who would look at the frame before I sign for it, I would appreciate the effort. I am willing to pay for the advice. Pick-up is at the Blue Ridge Arsenal.

Again, I apologies and appreciate everyones input whether good or bad. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas
