A year or two after I started to buy guns including Lugers, I realized that a dollar I paid for something else was a dollar I couldn't spend on a Luger. I sold off or traded my P-38, Radom, .380 Remington model 51, Astra 400, and an Enfield .32 revolver on the principle. I still have a Ruger Mk.III so I can shoot .22 with the same grip angle as a Luger, and a "Vilar" Ruby-pattern pocket pistol which is in such bad shape it has no trade value.

Of course I keep my Remington Fieldmaster .22 (my first rifle), my grandfather's 16ga. Model 12 Winchester, and the Model 94 saddle-ring carbine which stood behind the door at my grandparent's sheep ranch in central Oregon. Wouldn't sell those for anyting.

Sorry no pics.
