JTB - Policeluger is exactly right.... From only the picture, both the take down and mag release button should be strawed (a yellowish color). Since your pic doesn't include the safety lever- I'm guessing that isn't strawed either?
Anyway - after your pic (thank you for posting it - and again welcome!!!
) I'd probably categorized your Luger as a "shooter"... And as far as Lugers are concerned - any luger is worth keeping...
Hope this does NOT discourage you - as we all started with our "first" luger..!!
