Hi Jerry, Paul, JD, and Hi to all! Thanks to all for all the kind words... it seems that as I make these Luger mag. bottoms, there is always something to learn... So, the mag. bottoms sent to Art for Jerry and to Paul, are probably my best efforts to date... As I learn more about wood and finish, they seem to slowly improve.. hard to measure over 20 years!! The measuring stick that I really go by, and always have gone by, is the approval of Mr. John V. Martz.... Looks like as long as he's making Lugers, I'll be making mag. bottoms!!
