The '44' on the Locking Bolt once again proves that there is no substitute for physically looking at the gun.
The 'L' on the bottom side of the grip is probably an inspectors mark. The wood/stain appears to be different between the two sides of the grips but its good enough.
I just bought myself a new digital camera and so I am closely watching what everyone is doing with their pictures. I have no plans to take pictures of myself with my new camera for fear that I may break it.
