Default Why do folks say they are looking?

Over the last couple of months, I have heard several folks say they are earnestly looking for a shooter, they can't find them for under $2,000 ANYWHERE, and they look and look. Yet there are 2 or 3 "shooter' lugers, each for around $650, one that includes a nice WW1 holster for $850 and no takers and have been several for sale for a month or two.

And if say; 5 folks have bemoaned about this issued, there must be 5 times that many looking who never post...

So, do folks just complain, did they spend their money for christmas already, did we reach the end of the road for shooter luger values going up, or?

My gut feeling is that they say they want a "shooter" and when they see it is not pristine, they wait longer... If that is the case, save up and buy a nice collectable, just don't shoot it
