Rob, I hope it answers your question on the method of attachment to the lanyard loop on a Luger pistol.<br />

Jerry, my lanyard appears to be very much what you have described, however, prior to you joining the forum there were many discussions about the history of lanyards and the consensus was that there was no "standard" as I recall.<br />

Please do a message search on "lanyard" dating back to the beginning of the board and then comment on what you find in your search. As one of our resident leather experts, I would be very interested to know your opinion on what has been said previously.<br />

BTW, this "High-quality" image was made with my $35.00 flatbed scanner, not my $500.00 digital camera, go figure!<br />
