The printing on the left grip frame flat is the import mark. Although it is not in good focus, the lower line appears to me to be CAI St. Albans VT

which is one of the marks used by Century Arms International, in St. Albans, Vermont... I can't read the top line at all, but it is probably something line Luger P.08 and the importers inventory number. The real serial number is the one on the front of the grip frame above the trigger guard... and it includes a small alphabetic character under the 4 digit serial number that identifies the batch number for that serial number.
