neither, in fact none of the marks are from the factory, they are the acceptance markings of the inspector(s) who worked at the factory for the gov't.

And yes, these inspector acceptance markings are all the same, and in different time periods / inspectors, I do not know which came first.

But, as I said, are you trying to match something up or just asking general questions? If you are trying to match something up then you have to know when your pistol was made and what the acceptance markings on it are.

I would apprecaite you elaborating, as you stated earlier mm?? Is that marking or what? Geenrally mm is used as millimeter or (2) matching magazines ...

If you are going to collect the nazi era guns, (and we don't mind you asking questions), but I suggest you buy Third Reich Lugers from Jan Still.
