Ed, While the possibility of it being a Pacific Arms Luger exists, I think the measurement provided 15 and 3/4" is a pretty clear indicator that it is an aftermarket modern barrel, probably by Numrich. Especially because there is a forearm that attaches directly to the barrel and not to the pistol frame like a carbine...

I am very interested to know what this gun looks like and the actual barrel measurement.
