When saving the file to your hard drive, the file save window pops up to ask you :
1. File name
2. Save As Type --- (here you can change the pdf-file type to a jpeg file type)
Or if you have the pdf-file on your HD and you have opened it and you can see the pdf-file on your screen, do the File Save again and switch the type, then.
