Right there with you bud! It is NOT a good idea, but what good is a FIREarm your not going to FIRE! Unless you plan on selling it. I have a DWM 1917 and went through the same thing. Before I shot it, I replaced the hold open, firing pin, grips, extractor and mag. Don't no what kind of mag you have, but better safe that sorry. My hold open did not match, lucky enough to find a matching from luger doc! So know if it breaks, Know that you can find one, NOT EASY! But it can happen. Like I said, better safe than sorry, if shooting is a must, replace the parts and HAVE FUN!! Sean.....
