There were 1000 or the LP08's and either 2000 or 3000 of the 4" barrel Persians. At first it was thought that there were 1000 of the 4" pistols, but I believe your pistol is in the 1800 range, and some now say that there are known specimens over the 2000 serial number range.

A friend of mine had owned one of the LP08's for a number of years, and a couple of years ago bought one of the 4" pistols. Another friend has two of the cut-a-ways.
