I am in the process of contacting LugerDoc to inquire about drbuster's question, if it will work, if so, I will be purchasing one to get my Luger back to 100% mechanicly fit. I knew this would be the right place to find out. Plus this will not be my last Luger purchase, I already have the "research bug" and I am trying to absorb anything I can find on Lugers like a sponge. Thank you all for your help. Hope I can contribute back at some point. I am a Machinist/Tool & Die maker by trade, and have good knowledge of metals, machining, welding etc.. I have even copied and reproduced different types of springs in the past, once I have sample with dimensions to go by.
