FWIW, my data shows that 1937 S/42 Lugers had strawed small parts up to about S/N 2300t.

I have 1937 Lugers on both sides of your serial number and they both have strawed small parts!

It's difficult to tell from your photo what you have!! The flash masks a lot of detail!!
