In 1916 Erfut began manufacturing magazines with a single crown/letter inspection mark, stamped on the back (square) end of the base. The mag base is stamped with the full serial number including suffix, and the spare magazine is indicated with a +.

Make sure that a magazine you are looking at is in a proper tube: Erfurt magazine tubes are a slightly yellow hue; the follower buttons have square checkering (as opposed to the DWM diamond checkering); and the follower staking is rectangular rather than thumbnail-style.

If you do a keyword search on those terms in these Forums you will probably come up with some pictures.
