Police Bayonet
I bought this off of ebay recently, even nicer than he described and the pictures showed! I have a primary collection of Weimar Police Lugers, and like to pick up items that complement the collection. This is a brown leather sheath, which translates to being used by Rural Police.

The description on ebay said;

Listed is a German Rural Police dress bayonet. This is a quality example with nickeled solid fittings and shows great detail on the upper hilt and pommel. On the reverse of the quillon and on the reverse of the scabbard throat are matching "L.Mg.26." (Landjager Magdeburg 26 - Rural Constabulary, Magdeburg 26) The scabbard fittings are excellent and the brown leather sheath is nice with only typical minor blade tensioner bulge and creasing. The stag grips are excellent cutdown examples and the police emblem has extraordinary detail remaining. The best for last: the blade is beautiful! It is an ACS w/scales. (Alexander Coppel, Solingen)Both sides marked. A previous arsenal mark, looks like a "B" is on the spine. This one has the nicest blade of any I've owned. Only a very minor line down the groove where the tightener rides. I consider this piece to be up to the standards of most collectors.

My friend Don tells me;

Remarkably, I have the Luger that was issued with this bayonet listed in my database. It is a 29 DWM # 1752t with the same unit marking. Unfortunately, I got this off that old list of J.C.'s that I have and have no way of knowing who owns it. Buy the bayonet and you can start a lifelong search for the gun!

I am very happy, the blade is really nice. The "haze you see is either light oil, or condensation, it is in the 80's and it was very cool in the hotel room after I got back from working out!

Just below the nazi symbol is a hole, it would have held the weimar clamshell and/or weimar police eagle.

Star B is a police acceptance marking
