The ejector does not pivot during the movement of the receiver. The ejector only pivots down when the magazine is removed to permit the disassembly of the upper parts from the grip frame. When a magazine is inserted into the pistol, the ejector ten pivots upward to a fixed position and remains there until the magazine is withdrawn.
