My site is useful!!
Ok Glen, so far I have seen pistols without internal numbering, with the rear toggle numbered only and with the Rear Toggle, Side Plate, Breech Block and the Safety Lever numbered.
I am still trying to figure out why Mauser used different internal numberings for pistols made in the same period. For example my chromed model described in the previous topic has the serial number very close to yours but has the Rear Toggle, Side Plate, Breech Block and the Safety Lever internally stamped.
