While visiting my gunsmith buddy this afternoon, I noticed this very odd looking pistol on a shelf. He was busy with customers, so I helped myself to the weapon. To say the least, it is a bit strange looking. When the shop cleared a bit, I asked him what this was all about. His reply was that someone had just walked in off the street and offered it for sale. Not knowing anything about it and the price seemed fair, he said he just had to have it. It is a muzzle loader and appears to have never been fired. I personally think it was designed to be fired under a card table at dishonest gamblers and take out all the players at one time. (Back in the old west of course). Anyone with any information will be appreciated. Thanks,
