Can't get photos uploaded, will try later, anyway, its a 1937 S42, sn 4771. All matching, only wear is on sideplate and muzzle, grips are also numbered, cleaned up very well. Bore is mirror perfect. I screwed up in my first post, I meant bluing instead of straw, all small parts have a high gloss finish. No pitting which is amazing because its been in the holster since WWII. The magazines were the nastiest part, they cleaned up well also. One had eight rounds of "WW 9mm Luger" in it. They were very corroded. Owner told me they shot it once about forty years ago. Name in holster is Gef Paul Horwart. The unit is listed below name but I can't make it out. Writing is in the old style with a very light blue ink. Was most likely a fountain pen.
