If you look at the exploded view drawing of the P08 (as shown on many websites), you will not find the spring shown at all (it should have part number 26 ((or on some sites, "026")), and all parts after should have one number higher than on the drawing). The exploded view drawing of the old model 1900-1902 shows the spring as part # 17.
