Charles Kenyon-Treatise on the Luger

In the front dust jacket cover of "The Luger: MultiNational Pistol" it speaks of an upcoming revised Treatise from Mr Kenyon about the Luger pistol combining fantastic color pics like those in MNP with all the new information he has compiled over the years, assuming it has been updated. My published date for MNP is 1991. Any Idea if he still plans to do this book and when it MIGHT be coming out? The pictures in MNP are the best color photos of Luger pistol I have ever seen. Thanks! Thor

Is this like a REVISED copy of the same title? Cuz I just bought MNP... I wonder if it's the revised one?

Don't know but he talked about a two volume set! Once Ralph's email box is open again(he had like 500 to answer after his last gun show trip) I will ask him also. Thor

Re: Charles Kenyon-Treatise on the Luger

I spoke with Charlie in Kansas City in January on this subject. He indicated that what was going to be published was THE definative Luger book, basically a much enlarged and updated/corrected version of Lugers At Random. He indicated that he was having some legal/admin probs with the publisher and that was what was delaying publication.

ETA unknown.

Gun Repot Magazine has a monthly artical by Charlie, some are question and answers others complete write-ups on specific Lugers. Lots of good info I bet he uses it in the new book. Last issue was on the 1910 Erfurts.
