Reliable ammunition

I have a 9mm shooter that just will not feed or fuction reliably on any ammunition that I have tried except for some hand loads that I bought at a sale at my gun club. It runs like a sewing macine in this stuff. I believe that my problems are ammo related since the pistol will work very well with this ammo. This ammo uses the cast truncated bullets. I need information on good, reliable hand loads using jacketed bullits or factory ammo. Obsevation of the gun during firing and the kind of failures I have make me believe that the ammunition I am using is underpowered. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi:

Please see your private message.

If you would like to try some commercial ammo, many suggest the 115 gr. S&B ammo commonly available.

I have found the 123 gr. TC "Combat" Fiocchi ammo to be about as close to the original DWM Parabellum loading as is currently commercially available.

Obtaining proper operation from a Luger is like tuning a Porsche; once properly tuned, expect fantastic performance!!

Since the operation of a Luger seems to be all about its springs, if yours are in spec, developing proper ammo for it should be quite easy.
