Manufacturing & Assembly Tolerances

Can someone advise me how I can obtain a technical book or manual with manufacturing tolerances for Lugers? I enjoy taking apart and reassembling them after some rework but I never know about the fit. Are parts to tight, to lose just right? I would like a manual that would have all the tolearnces for the parts themselves as well as assembly tolerances.

Re: Manufacturing & Assembly Tolerances

Sam,

We have a Forum member, Mr. Frank Rial, who has a CD which contains a copy of the original drawings. I have seen copies of some of the original drawings and all the diminsions for the manufacture of the parts are there. The CD is available for Frank for $20 each. This is a real bargain to copies of the originals. Frank's address is listed in the "Links & Resources" section of the Forum.

I think this will probably be the closest you can come to the information you want.

Sam, If you contact me with your questions, I'll try to answer them... The tolerances are on the blueprints, but the entire set might be more detail than you require.

Yours Frank
