Finnish? Luger Holster
This holster has been offered to me recently and the seller says that it is Finnish. Could anyone give me an opinion on this please? It is completely unmarked.

John, Without seeing the "unmarked" holster back side. I would guess that this is a Finnish rework (new closure strap and buckle) of a German commerical holster. Tom H.

John, I agree with Lugerdoc. Looks to be a converted German. The buckle is not the German type however. Would have to see more photo's of the back and inside to know more. Looks mishapen and soft like it has seen severe use , abuse and had oil applied to it. Depending on how much the gentleman is asking for this I would consider my option on purchasing it very carefully. There are many unaltered holsters available on today's market that look better than this one. Quality is always worth the little more you pay. Jerry Burney

Thank you all for the advice. I won't be buying it. I don't have a Finnish Luger to put in it anyway. Of course, if I ever do find one, there won't be a holster to be found for love nor money........

I have just received, from Germany, a Finnish holster SA marked with riveted straps etc. I don't intend to keep it. Should anyone have an interest in it please contact me. It is a reworked early German holster.

George, I have not heard from you since I sent your holsters and lanyards back...Did you get the box alright? Thanks Jerry
