DDR 'Lieferer Nr'
 

Hi,

While catching up on my limited DDR knowledge, I found that the '1001' on the DDR Extruded magazines is the manufacturer's code or 'lieferer nr' of Haenel. The East-German Pistole 1001 (the Walther PP ripoff) was also coded after Haenel, who did the assembly.

Another 4-digit 'lieferer nr' was stamped inside my VoPo holster (nr. 1828).

So obviously the DDR used 4-digit codes to identify their suppliers. Does anyone know of East-German supplier code lists?
