Artillery Holster
Found this on Ebay:
Artillery Holster [quote]Luger Artillery Holster dated 1915, the maker is Schneider Brieg. Condition is excellent with all original stitching intact. Body of holster retains is original shape.

Why did he not take the dent out of the nose before taking the photo? Wonder if all of the hardware is intact? Do you reckon that the inside of the flap shows wear? Belt loops? Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2121310539 http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/i-1.jpg |
From the ad, I would say that you get nothing but the holster. He did say that all the stitching was intact, so it should have the strap loops on the back. It doesn't appear to have had a stud fastener added to the flap which would lead me to believe belt loops were never added.

Wes, The dent in the muzzle end is a normal occurence. It comes from The toe strap connected to the stock. Most artillery holsters that have been attached to a stock have this . Jerry burney
