1 more bogus holster 2176407270

Gentlemen, for your education on phony 1960's Packistani goatskin Luger holsters here is a prime example. You would think collectors who are experienced would know better. 2176407270 on eBay.

Let it be known, I do not have anything against a holster that is made to period specs. I make them myself but these things are being passed off to novice collectors with phoney stamps and actually bring big money when in fact this holster shouldn't bring over $19.95 at the very most. And I am not sure why anyone would buy it at that price.

Please educate yourselves so you do not fall prey to a stinkin goatskin holster.

While I'm at it I might mention that a guy calling himself Sig380 is trying to pawn off the same type of crap on either Gunbroker or Auction Arms. Save your money for something you can be proud of instead of a future chew toy for the dog. Jerry Burney

Jerry,
I really appreciate your tip concerning this holster. It is important to share this information. I believe that this kind of "on job training" is very important for novice collectors (and not only!!).
Thank you.
Ciao

Thanks Pete! I'm going to have to put down my needle and thread and learn to do that someday!

Truely Mauro, we tend to study the pistols a great deal but it surprising to me that some other items get ignored.

Like Luger lanyards...One just was on eBay the other day..probably original, Michael Reese had it for sale. Do you guys know how rare those are? I have only seen two or three in the U.S. in eight years of looking for them. These were actually issued to German troops in WW1 and 2. Sometimes we cannot see the forest for the trees....And by the way your book is great! I am having a good time with it! Jerry Burney
