I don't know enough to venture that it is authentic and I don't have an artillery luger to put in it.

It appears to me that the front of the holster has been cut down to facilitate easier withdrawal of the pistol, Also seems that the pull-up strap has been monkeyed with. It's a shame because the other attachments and straps look grand. The shoulder strap looks like a real prize.

i am selling the artillery holster rig
its is all original and has not been monkeyed with in any way

After going through my holsters, I have found some that are shallower at the throat than the subject holster but I have also found several that are exactly like that in the auction.

My thoughts and the negative conclusion I posted above, were hasty and I was in error.

The good part of all this seems to be that my erroneous observation did nothing to hamper the bidding.

I am constantly amazed by the integrity of the folks that frequent this forum. George's sincerity is not an isolated incident... thanks George for your input...
