Very richly priced, I might add. It seems that percentage wise, leather is appreciating more than gun metal!

Herb, Askin ain't gettin. This quality of leather is hard to find granted but it is not for us country folks here in the mountains....Jerry Burney

I was never one to go in much for Luger accessories since it was tough enough to come up with the money for a gun. However, as collectable Luger prices continued to escalate into orbital status, I started acquiring a few holsters, mostly just to satisfy the collecting urge (plus the fact that I lucked into a genuine US Test Trial holster that kind of wetted my whistle). Now, even acquiring those esoteric bits of cowhide is getting to the point that it is as Jerry stated, "it is not for us country folks here in the mountains" anymore.

All,

Lest I seem like some second millenium Old Testament prophet, I have been advising folks for the past several years to BUY LEATHER. This has been received with varying degrees of enthusiasm.

These days, auction house results and internet sites reveal a rig is worth FAR more than the sum of it's components.

It is good to see one's recommendations vindicated.
