My wife and son get worried when I do that. My son (10) says "mommy, why is daddy wearing that holster?".

My kids do the opposite, "Mom, why isnt Daddy wearing his gun again......did he loose it?" Guns are a big part of our lives. The kids have learned not to touch! And we are very careful! When I am at home, I am always armed. Thor

I carry one of my Lugers from time to time. Not because I don't have a better carry gun but because it is very light and it's easy to conceal.

I meant (and I think Ted did too) wearing it around the house. It just kinda makes you feel secure, ya know?

Well, with my gun business, you never who will "come calling" Many gun shops here have armed employees, not the most idea set of circumstances, but I have learned to adapt!

I either carry or have a gun with in a 5sec reach around the house my self. Just last week I stopped a B&E at my house at 5am with a Luger in hand. I had it out the night before getting ready for an early morning birthday range session.

Typically I carry a 357 S&W or a 45 H&K Compact in my car with a little 32 PPK for backup to either! BUT I just like the feel of a Luger or P38 when I am not out and about! Thor

At home, I have the o&u 20 gauge with #8's. These pellets will do the job quite nicely at in house range, but will not go through the walls where family members are sleeping.

I carry my 1911 Commander comp gun , or my P99 in 40 with a .32 PP as back up for CC but the Luger was ready to go (didn't have time to pick). If I had a choice would have grabed my.50cal Desert Eagle or my MB 500 12G. Jesse

I always carry a Kel-Tec .32 compact with me everywhere. It's smaller than my wallet, and fires like a charm. It's also super-duper light, and I usually forget I'm even wearing it.


I don't think I'd ever carry my Luger concealed. Just not really the gun for the job. Plus, the whole single-action only thing is kinda spooky. Now, wearing it on a belt, non-concealed is a whole different story! I would carry it that way, if needed.

I love my Lugers, but have only carried one briefly, after I gave my S&W Airweight to my Mom. I now carry,(and wouldn't leave home without!) a Glock G-29 subcompact 10mm.

Shoots like a tackdriver, and has never jammed, from the moment I took it out of the box.

10mm can be loaded to .41 Mag specs if you use Norma brass
