Re: OT...
Now that folks, is an interesting piece of data that might be useful the next time someone comes down on gun ownership.
Thanks for the post! Regards |
Re: OT...
Unfortunately, we don't have to wait for someone to come down on gun ownership, it is happening every second of every day. As gun owners, we cannot afford to ever think that just because the NRA endorsed a candidate who isn't anti-gun, and he is now president, that our rights are safe and secure. Rest assured that there is a massive movement that is constantly gaining ground whose sole purpose is to make it more difficult for individuals to own firearms. When you hear "Do it for the children" don't be misled, it's not about children nor is it about duck hunting.

Re: my 2 cents worth..
![]() Ok, it's Canadian cents and only worth 65% of a US one but I'll tell it anyway and owe the difference...
Come on now folks, dont take it out on cars!!! Gee, you don't want to deprive the government of all those tax dollars that auto's generate do you??? Now if gun ownership generated as much tax revenue as cars you wouldn't need the 2nd ammendment!!! Regards; |
Re: OT...
I agree. When I hear McCain and Lieberman talk about "closing the gun show loophole", I shudder. They want nothing short of any firearm transaaction between private individuals being subject to government scrutiny and registration.

Re: OT...
If the Demos in the senate now have their way we all could end up like The People's Republic of California with no legal personal transfers of any kind, except our C&R items (if you have a C&R license). All guns, including rifles and shotguns, must be transfered thru an FFL dealer, but not just any FFL, he must also be a licensed TRANSFER DEALER, who will collect and additional $25 for the service, of which $15 is sent into the state for the 15 day waiting period, for which he will probably charge you and additional STORAGE FEE. Hopefully, George B. won't sign any such legislation, unless he thinks it will buy him soccer mom votes for reelection ????.
