Grip Identification needed

Hi,

Picked up 2 handgrip sets as canditates to be used for 'shooting' grips for my M11 dutch luger.

Before I take the file and 'modify'a set to fit my gun (need to add some clearance to the leftside grip to make room for the grip safety),
I'd like to check whether I'm not screwing up something valuable first:

The first set seems to be a VOPO set, the other set I'm not sure of. They're both bakelite, the black grips are almost solid while the VOPO ones are hollow. I've added a scan of the front and back of both sets.

Thanks for any info on the matter.
I was thinking about modifying the VOPO grips.

The grips with the bullseye are definitely VOPO and the ones with the straight grooves are of eastern bloc origin to the best of my knowledge... which ever ones fit best should be modified for your shooter grips...

Thanks,

I'll go for the VOPO grips, since they're hollow, they will be easier to modiy. The black grips are almost solid. Any idea in what part of eastern europe these 'lined' black grips were used?

GvV, The black vertically grooved grip are one style that came on the recent Soviet (Russian) imports. Tom H.
