Interarms Lugers

I am new to Luger collecting and I have ordered a 6" Swiss model from Interarms. I know that these do not have the original collector value of the 'original' Lugers, however, what is the quality, fit, and machining of the Interarms Lugers? If I am pleased with my Interarms Luger, I will move on and purchase an origianl pre WW-II Luger model. Thanks.

Hello Ed,

Welcome to the Forum !

If you switch to the discussion section titled "Post WWII" lugers, you will find lots of good info. on these modern-day lugers...

Hi Ed,

As you will soon know from surfing around this site, I am the moderator of the Navy piece of this flume ride. Likewise, if you go back about a month or so, you will see that I purchased two *very special* Mauser parabellums. These would be the 5th and 6th I have purchased over the past 10 years or so.

They are exquisite, pure and simple.

They are greatly undervalued, IMHO, in todays market and I see them as a buying opportunity.

My recommendation is for the mint versions of unusual versions. The common Swiss grip, also IMHO, will never go anywhere value -wise because it lacks collector appeal and interest.

The Navy, Arty, and ANY CUSTOM variants are like buying Microsoft @$5 a share.

FWIW,

Tom A.
