New Guy, Old Luger
I need some help. My wife's grandfather was shot down over France in WWII. Details of how he returned to England are sketchy as he did not want to talk about. But he did bring back a piece of his experience- a Luger, with leather flap holster.
After looking at some of the markings on this board I think what I have is a Mauser, police model maybe, manufactured in Oberndorf in 1940. But I really don't know what I am looking at. If possible I would like to post or email some pictures of the pistol and its cartouches. Can someone please help? Thanks |
