Hello to all. Like everyone else here, I too am a Luger fan. Over the years many questions have come up regarding the different aspects of the Luger. In the last couple of days that I've been going thru this Forum, You folks have cleared up most of them. Thanks! I'm not a collector, but more of a tinkerer/shooter. After discovering the various auction sites,I've gotten in a little deeper. I've assembled three "parts" guns that are all nice shooters. Now for the question. While collecting the various parts needed, I've come across a hold open latch that appears to have been "pinned" to the frame as opposed to held in place with a spring. As I haven't been able to find any reference to this style of latch, I would appreciate any info on it.
Again, Thanks to all here that take the time to share their knowledge and experiences.

Rudy Nilo,

Can you post a photograph or a scan of the part in question...

A scanner works almost a well as a camera for this purpose.

Please post a couple of photos from different angles and if the part isn't a one-of-a-kind that someone made to replace a broken original latch, then maybe someone here on the forum will recognize it... and we will all know..

Thanks.

After spending time with the part in question, measuring, scanning, trying to figure out how to get an image loaded,(unsuccessfully), it hit me that what I have is an unfinished hold open latch.
As far as the picture goes, I got as far as uploading it, but when I got to the copy and paste page, I got lost! So there is an image floating around somewhere,I just don't know where!
I guess I'm still not as comfortable with computers as I should be. I'll have get my son over for some more lessons.
Thanks to those who responded.
